The President of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Professor Dr. Atef Al-Kharabsheh, conducted an inspection tour this morning of the halls designated for the University Proficiency Exam at the Computer Center laboratories in the Faculty of Information Technology. He was accompanied by supervisors from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission, the Director of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Fadi Hmeidat, and the Director of the Computer Center, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rawashdeh.
Professor Dr. Atef Al-Kharabsheh emphasized the importance of the University Proficiency Exam, which measures students' academic achievement throughout their university journey. He stressed the need for students to give the exam due attention, as it reflects the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their years of study.
Dr. Al-Kharabsheh explained that the proficiency exam is a key tool for evaluating learning outcomes and improving the quality of academic programs. He also praised the students’ commitment and seriousness, as well as the significant efforts made by the faculties and supervisory committees to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the examination.
The Director of the Center for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Fadi Hmeidat, stated that the exam was conducted in an atmosphere of organization and discipline, and that the entire process proceeded smoothly and efficiently thanks to the dedicated efforts of the academic and administrative staff and the fruitful cooperation of the university students.
Dr. Hmeidat added that approximately 2,000 male and female students from various faculties and disciplines at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University sat for the University Proficiency Exam held today, in accordance with the requirements of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions.
