Message from the Director of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center
Dr. Fadi Abdullah Al-Homaidat
The Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University was established in 2021 through the merger of the Faculty Performance Development Center and the Planning, Information, and Quality Unit. The Center serves as an institutional framework that supports the University’s journey toward development and continuous improvement.
The Center aims to enable the University to achieve its mission and objectives by promoting the principles of total quality management across all academic, administrative, and financial processes. It also works to establish clear performance indicators for measuring and evaluating institutional performance, contributing to the development of academic plans and programs, enhancing productivity, and fostering a culture of self-correction and continuous improvement in educational, administrative, organizational, and technological areas.
The establishment of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center reflects the University administration’s commitment to enhancing the quality of teaching, learning, scientific research, and training, with the aim of preparing distinguished graduates equipped with the competencies and skills required by the local and regional labor market.
The Center is also concerned with the supervision, follow-up, evaluation, and continuous development of faculty performance, academic programs, and the various administrative units of the University, thereby strengthening the standing of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University and supporting its pursuit of excellence and competitiveness among leading universities.
Furthermore, the Center supports colleges and academic programs in meeting national and international academic accreditation standards and in building an integrated system for measuring, monitoring, and documenting the University’s achievements, contributing to distinguished and sustainable institutional performance.
