I am very honoured and delighted to welcome you to the Vice President’s Office of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University. As the Vice President for the Academic Affairs at AHU, I am officially in charge of providing strategic vision and leadership of the University; this includes a constant bridging between the academic programs, faculty, and students from one hand and administration, finance, and research from the other hand.
The Vice President Office supports AHU’s mission by inspiring excellence and innovation in teaching, research, scholarship, student development, and community engagement. Indeed, the Office is channelled toward three overarching goals: high quality teaching, high impact academic research, and positive local community service. We are persistently committed to open up new horizons for our students through the use of emerging technologies in and out of the classroom, the development of open educational resources, academic research, interdisciplinary projects, and experiential learning opportunities.
