Ahmad S. Alhasanat is an assistant professor of Applied Math at Department of  Mathematics since 2017. Currently he is the departmental head since Sept. 2019

He got his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Memorial University in Canada at 2017. His research interests  are  on  spatial-temporal patterns modeled by differential equations, biological, physical, or chemical models 

Ahmad teaches several courses related to differential equations and is supervising many graduate students
