Bassam A. Y. Alqaralleh received his BSc degree in Computer Science in
1992, graduate Diploma in Computer Information Systems in 2002 and Masters
degree in Computer Science in 2004. After that, he received his PhD degree from
University of Sydney in 2010 with a Thesis titled “Addressing Data and Access
Skew Problems in Data-Indexed Overlays".
His research interests include Distributed
Systems, Wireless Networking, Load-Balancing and Security Systems. He has
published a number of conference papers, journal papers and book chapters in
these topics.
Currently, He is an associate professor in Computer Science
Department/Faculty of IT at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU)/Jordan.
During his employment at this University he was the head of Computer Science
Department, head of Information Systems Department, Vice Dean for the Faculty
of IT and currently the Dean for the Faculty of IT. Also, he has been a
committee member for Computer Science Department Council , Faculty of IT
Council, AHU Dean's Council and AHU University Council.
