Mohammad Shalby received his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2005, an M.Sc. in Engineering Management from Mutah University in 2012, and a Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney in 2019. He has been an Associate Professor and Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University since 2019 and Director of the Center for Studies, Consultations, and Community Development since 2022. His research interests include environmental studies and renewable energy .technologies

My primary research interests include: • Design and develop oscillating water column devices to harvest ocean wave energy. • Develop and improve the efficiency and sustainability of renewable energy technologies, e.g., Wind and solar energy.
