Princess Aisha Bint Al-Hussein College of Nursing at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University is a specialized academic institution established in 2007, dedicated to preparing highly qualified nursing professionals capable of providing safe, ethical, and evidence-based care.

The College is committed to providing a modern learning environment that supports the integration of theoretical and clinical components, promotes critical thinking, professional reasoning, and lifelong learning, and contributes to the development of students’ cognitive, clinical, and professional competencies in preparation for responsible nursing practice.

The College offers its academic programs through a well-structured academic framework comprising three main departments  : 

Clinical Nursing

Maternal and Child Health Nursing

Community Health Nursing

This structure contributes to comprehensive coverage of the various nursing practice domains and supports the achievement of the program’s intended learning outcomes.In addition to the undergraduate program, the College offers a Master’s Program in Adult Acute Care Nursing, which aims to prepare specialized nurses capable of managing complex and critical health conditions in diverse healthcare settings, thereby supporting the needs of the healthcare system.

The College strives to provide appropriate educational facilities, accredited clinical training environments, and supportive technological infrastructure that enhance teaching and learning processes and contribute to improving the quality of educational outcomes.

Furthermore, the College adopts an institutional culture grounded in quality assurance and continuous improvement, through regular review of its academic programs, utilization of feedback from students, graduates, and stakeholders, and continuous alignment with developments in nursing education and healthcare practices, thereby strengthening its role in serving the community, particularly in the southern region.

Princess Aisha Bint Al-Hussein College of Nursing aims to:

1.    Enhance the quality of nursing education through continuous curriculum development,  simulation-based and technology-supported learning, and outcome-based assessment aligned with national and international standards.

2.    Promote interdisciplinary research and evidence-based practice that contributes to advancing nursing knowledge and addresses national and regional health priorities.

3.    Strengthen community engagement through effective partnerships with healthcare institutions, clinical training programs, and community health initiatives.

4.    Prepare competent nursing graduates who demonstrate leadership, ethical practice, patient safety, and workforce readiness to meet the evolving needs of healthcare systems.

5.    Strengthen the learning environment that promotes professional values, ethics, responsibility, and lifelong learning.
