The Department of Media and Strategic Studies aims to equip students with fundamental skills and in-depth knowledge in the field of international relations. It also empowers them to analyze and predict international phenomena and develop their scientific research skills in this area, preparing them for careers in diplomacy, international organizations, research institutions, and centers for strategic, political, and international studies.

 

The department aims to intellectually and practically develop students' research, writing, and discussion skills, thereby contributing to the refinement of their personalities, fostering their creative thinking abilities, and strengthening their sense of national and pan-Arab identity through political education courses. It strives to meet the needs of society by preparing qualified professionals in international relations and developing leaders who can guide public opinion in service of the goals of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the issues of the Arab nation. Furthermore, the department provides students with a theoretical framework that helps them understand the political reality and the changes occurring in international relations within the international system. Finally, it cultivates their scientific and intellectual capabilities and encourages a spirit of inquiry, analysis, and impartial deduction within the general principles of political study.
