I am pleased to welcome you to Princess Aisha Bint Al Hussein College for Nursing and Health Sciences at Al Hussein Bin Talal University. I would like to welcome you to the College of Health, which contributes to providing the South Region with nursing and health specialties to increase health awareness and enhance the level of health services. The southern region and fill the shortage of qualified health personnel in the province of Ma'an and the south and Jordan in general. Al-Taris began nursing in 2008/2007, and the college realized the need of the local community in the South to introduce new medical specialties, and started to open the sections of medical analysis and radiography in the academic year 2014/2013. The total number of students (502) students in all years, levels and specializations. The number of graduates of the faculty in the field of nursing (256) students and working many of them in the various health sectors in the southern region, as well as inside and outside the Kingdom have demonstrated their merit and excellence in the work. The College derives its philosophy and scientific mission from the message of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, derived from Jordan's national message and informed by the Higher Education Law and the Law of Jordanian Universities in shaping its career and achieving its objectives of preparing professional cadres capable of meeting the needs of health institutions. In addition to contributing to the provision of continuing education programs that will contribute to increasing communication with others and enhancing critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving. The college includes specialized laboratories in the field of nursing, radiography and medical analysis, equipped with the latest equipment and models for the training of students in addition to the computer lab counterfeit Internet service and a medical library full of the latest specialized nursing and medical books, and the College was able to move from the stage of founding to the stage of excellence. Laboratories and teaching plans in line with the development of nursing, radiology and medical analysis. The College adopts a critical thinking approach in teaching courses, methodological and non-curricular activities, as well as solving problems and improving the teaching and training process in order to improve students' thinking and develop their self-education. In line with the vision of the university and its mission that seeks to excel, the College has attracted a number of specialized faculty members with scientific competence and for the purpose of continuity and sustainability of the availability of faculty members, has developed an ambitious scholarship plan to provide qualified academic cadres in various specialties nursing, radiology and medical analysis. The University has signed agreements with the Ministry of Health and Royal Medical Services to train students and benefit from hospitals and health institutions in order to graduate health practitioners with a high level of training and skill. In the near future, the College seeks to expand health specialties and open graduate programs.
