Wael Abu Shehab received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Telecommunication Technique from VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, in 1997 and 2001, respectively. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Jordan. His research interest spans a wide range of electrical engineering topics,  including optical fiber sensors, electrical networks, and applications of wireless communications.
