Biography

**Dr. Ali Mohammad Haroun Al-Ghonmein** is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems at the Faculty of Information Technology, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University. He currently serves as the **Acting Head of the Department of Computer Information Systems**. Previously, he served as the **Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology** and as the **Assistant Dean for Development and Quality Affairs**. Dr. Al-Ghonmein earned his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan, in 2018. He also holds a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences, Jordan, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University. He has over fifteen years of academic and administrative experience in higher education, quality assurance, academic accreditation, and curriculum development. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in numerous university committees related to academic development, quality assurance, and strategic planning. His research interests include Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence and its applications in education, Information Security, Cloud Computing, Decision Support Systems, Blockchain Technology, and the Quality of Electronic Services. He has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers in internationally indexed journals. Dr. Al-Ghonmein has taught a wide range of undergraduate courses in Computer Information Systems, including Systems Analysis, Database Systems, Python Programming, Oracle, Expert Systems and Decision Support Systems, Software Requirements Engineering, Graduation Projects, and Field Training. In addition, he has earned several professional certifications and completed specialized training programs in academic quality assurance, e-learning, programming, and the English language.
