Dr.. Bassam A. Y. AlQaralleh is a Professor of Computer science and Information Systems at Al-Hussein bin Talal University. Currently, Dr. AlQaralleh has a sabbatical leave of absence and works at the American University of the Middle East - Kuwait as a professor of Management Information Systems. with prior academic roles at The University of Business and Technology, and Northern Border University - Saudi Arabia. His educational background includes a BSc in Computer Science from Mu'tah University (1992), a Graduate Diploma in Information Systems from The Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences (2002), a master's degree in Computing from UTS University (2004), and a PhD from the University of Sydney (2010). As an academic with extensive experience, Dr. AlQaralleh has held several significant administrative positions in addition to his professorial duties. He has a proven record of leadership, overseeing high-quality educational programs in many subjects and producing significant research, including 1 book chapter, 33 journal publications, and 9 conference papers. His key research interests are Distributed Systems, Smart Technologies, Technology Adoption, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Wireless Networking, Load Balancing, and Security Systems. Dr. AlQaralleh is a seasoned academic leader with over 26 years of experience in higher education, demonstrating expertise in curriculum development, capstone project supervision, and program design. His strong understanding of the standards of the Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (Jordan) and his work as head of several committees affiliated with the Authority has allowed him to effectively craft and articulate comprehensive Computer Science bachelor’s degree curriculum plans
